IZUMI Top Koi is a professional top feed for Koi. To give this feed the strong attractiveness, good digestibility and consistent quality, we have selected the highest quality ingredients. The protein/fat ratio is balanced to maximise the growth of your Koi while keeping them in a beautiful slim shape.

Special ingredients

The added krill meal makes this feed irresistible to koi. This ensures good feed intake. Also, a high concentration of the necessary vitamins is added to the food, which enables a healthy and good development of the animals. IZUMI Top Koi is enriched with wheat germ, a prebiotic and probiotics to support the flora of the gastrointestinal tract. In addition, it improves digestion and the absorption of nutrients from the food. The natural resistance to disease is improved by the added garlic and an immune stimulant (ß-glucan).

Pigments

Many different, special pigments, such as astaxanthin, spirulina and paprika are added to the feed. They give your Koi a deep, intense and vivid colouration without discolouring the white scales.

Clean water

Because IZUMI Top Koi is a floating food, it is easy to monitor your koi's feed intake. The excellent water stability of this food minimises water pollution.

IZUMI Top Koi consists of ingredients that meet the highest quality standards. The protein and fat contents are perfectly balanced to maximise the growth and colours of your Koi. At the same time, this food keeps your Koi in perfect condition. IZUMI Top Koi also ensures that the beautiful slender 'torpedo' shape is maintained. FORPLUS™ and BIO-MOS® are added to keep your koi in top health. FORPLUS™, our substitute for fish oil, is an algae rich in omega-3 fatty acids, especially DHA. In addition, wheat germ is added for a vitamin E supply, astaxanthin and spirulina to help with colour. Furthermore, IZUMI Top Koi contains the probiotic inulin. This forms an optimal supply for a positive intestinal flora.

Probiotics

Based on extensive research, a probiotic (Bacillus Subtilis) was added to our IZUMI Top-Koi. This is contained in human food, e.g. in yoghurt.

How do probiotics work?

The beneficial bacteria promote intestinal health. They take the place of opportunistic bacteria in the intestine, so that the pathogenic bacteria are fought. As a result, resistance to disease increases and nutrient absorption in the gut improves. As a result, water quality also improves.

IZUMI Top Koi is ideal for preparing for competitions and koi shows.

Feeding recommendation:

Feed 2 to 4 times per day depending on fish size and no more than the koi can eat within 5 minutes. Remove all uneaten food from the pond if you have fed too much. The koi's appetite decreases significantly when the water temperature drops below 10 °C; bear this in mind when feeding. Below a water temperature of 5 °C, the koi should no longer be fed.
