HX65 series - circulation pumps for fresh and salt water The powerful circulation pumps of the HX65 series are particularly suitable as feed and flow pumps in fresh and salt water aquariums. They have an extremely sturdy pump housing made of ABS plastic, in which the motor is completely encapsulated in synthetic resin. Polished ceramic bearings and ceramic axles round off the profile of the HX65 circulation pump series here (PDF).

The pump can be used both as a submersible pump under water and as a dry pump. In the latter case, appropriate piping must be provided. When installed dry, the pump should be below the water level, as it is not self-priming. The pump must never run dry (without water in the pump chamber)!
