The SuperSieve is intended as a pre-filter for ponds where the pump is located in the pond. The SuperSieve uses special industrial curved screens. A curved screen consists of razor-sharp triangular rods arranged at a certain angle to each other with a gap of 300 micrometres (0.3 mm). The water flows against the sharp edge of the triangle, breaking the surface tension of the water. Dirt particles are now pushed away from the sieve element and "lifted" out of the water. The dirt then continues to slide down the sieve element as if on a slide and lies "on dry land". This dirt finally collects in the SuperSieve's dirt channel. The SuperSieve is made up of 2 parts: the pre-chamber, into which the water is pumped, and the chamber in which the sieve element is located. The SuperSieve is available in granite white and granite black.
