Pond heater
Even when the surface of the ponds is frozen over in winter, life continues under the layer of ice. Decomposition of faeces, food and plant remains produces putrefactive gases that cannot escape through a closed ice cover. As a result, all pond inhabitants suffer severe damage, which in not infrequent cases leads to death. It is therefore advisable to keep at least a small area of the water surface free of ice. There are different systems for this, which have proven themselves over the years. With a professional pond heater it is possible to keep the entire pond water at a relatively constant desired temperature. This depends on the power of the heater, the volume of water and the ambient temperature. All professional pond heaters have a stainless steel housing. The heating rod is also made of stainless steel. The pond heaters are equipped with a digital temperature control, a thermal fuse and a flow monitor. The professional pond heater must be operated with a minimum flow rate of 1 m³ per hour. The maximum flow rate is 7 m³ per hour. If the pump capacity is higher, please install the Profi pond heater in the bypass. For easy integration into a pipe, all pond heaters have a 1 1/2" internal thread. Maximum operating pressure 3 bar.
