Spirulina - Health and colour enhancing koi food

IZUMI Spirulina is a professional colour food for ornamental fish. The food has a high content of spirulina (6%) and other carefully selected colour-enhancing ingredients such as paprika and astaxanthin. These additives make the contrasting colours of your fish even brighter, deeper and more intense. The natural origin of the colourants prevents discolouration of the white scales. Koi lovers know about the effect of spirulina in koi food. A high spirulina content is necessary for colouration, but also supports the health of koi and other coloured ornamental fish.

Krill meal is added to the feed to make it particularly attractive for cyprinids and to ensure sufficient food intake. The flora of the gastrointestinal tract is supported by a prebiotic and probiotics. Digestion and absorption of nutrients are thus improved.

IZUMI Spirulina also contains an immune stimulant (ß-glucan) to improve natural disease resistance. Optimal amounts of vitamins are added to the feed to further promote the health of your fish. IZUMI Spirulina is stable in water and floats, which minimises water pollution and allows close observation of your fish's feeding behaviour.

Feeding recommendation:

Feed 2 to 4 times per day depending on fish size and no more than the koi can eat within 5 minutes. Remove all uneaten food from the pond if you have fed too much. The koi's appetite decreases significantly when the water temperature drops below 10 °C; bear this in mind when feeding. Below a water temperature of 5 °C, the koi should no longer be fed.
