Switches off automatically when there is no water in the rotor. At a blockage from the impeller, the pump sets itself in a locked position, whereby no further current is consumed until the blockage has been removed. This is also a dry-running protection and protects the motor. Interesting price/performance ratio of the waste water pump. Suitable for watercourses, waterfalls, fountains, filters, etc. Also suitable for dry installation (inlet must be below water level, as not self-priming!).
