Claynopond creates conditions similar to those in Japanese breeding ponds by introducing many different minerals into the water. Calcium is also added to the water, which considerably supports the Koi's digestion.

Regular use of

pH value is permanently stabilised. Supports sludge decomposition on
pond bottoms, longer filter life. Izumi Tonmineral contains a high
proportion in montmorillonite clay material. Japanese mudponds are found on
highly clayey soils, this is where the true brilliance of the koi unfolds.
Application:
Koi pond, ornamental fish pond, aquaristics, small sewage treatment plants. Weekly 50 g per 10,000
l water. Izumi Tonmineral should be dissolved in water before use
and evenly distributed in the pond system. The extremely fine
particles of the material cause a temporary turbidity of the water,
which changes to crystal clear water within a short time. Bottom deposits
should be removed at regular intervals.

Izumi GH Plus - for safely increasing the total hardness in the garden pond. For all biological processes in the garden pond to function well, the German total hardness, dGH, is a decisive factor. This value should not fall below 8 dGH. A hardness level between 11-13 dGH is desirable in the garden pond. If the total hardness in your pond is too low, slowly increase the total hardness to the value you are aiming for.Dosage:Before each use, determine the total hardness with an appropriate test! If the total hardness is below 8 dGH, add approx. 50 gr. per 1,000 litres of pond water to the water every week. As soon as you have adjusted the dGH to a value between 11-13 dGH, a weekly additional dosage of 10 - 15 gr. per 1,000 litres of pond water is advisable. Izumi pH-Minus is a remedy for lowering the pH value of alkaline water; it works particularly quickly and efficiently. With the pH lowering, acute ammonia poisoning is immediately combated and CO2 deficiency of the plants is remedied. Other nutrients can also be better absorbed by the plants again, resulting in faster growth. With pH-Minus, fish can breathe better again, feel better and eat better.Areas of application:pH-Minus is used to quickly lower high (alkaline) pH values (above 8.5) in ornamental ponds and biotopes, as well as for immediate help in cases of acute ammonia poisoning and CO2 deficiency. Fish can show apathetic behaviour due to too high pH values. Izumi KH Plus - for safely increasing the carbonate hardness in your garden pond. Much more important than the total hardness in your pond is carbonate hardness or acid capacity. The lowest value for all fish in the pond starts at 5 dKH. A target value for carbonate hardness should be 8-9 dKH. If the carbonate hardness falls below 5 KH, this can have fatal consequences for your fish. Due to its buffering capacity, the carbonate hardness stabilises the pH value in your pond and extreme pH value fluctuations are avoided. These pH fluctuations can be so great that gill burns can even occur as a result of a low pH. A too high pH value promotes algae growth.Dosage:Before each use, determine the total hardness with an appropriate test! If the carbonate hardness is below 5 dGH, add approx. 50 g per 1,000 litres of pond water to the water weekly. Izumi Phosphamine - binds excess phosphate quickly and effectively
The most frequent cause of algae growth in the pond is an excess of nutrients. Phosphate in particular is the main reason for this. Excessive phosphate levels in the water cause the growth of particularly annoying filamentous and brush algae. Our Izumi Phosphamin binds phosphate permanently and quickly (100 g phosphamin binds approx. 15 g pure phosphate) in your pond water. The phosphate is "coated" and transformed into a non-soluble mineral. This deprives the annoying filamentous and brush algae of their food basis. A positive side effect is the decomposition of pond sludge through the use of our phosphamine.Before using phosphamine, you should combat the existing filamentous algae with our filamentous algae killer. This quickly removes the existing algae and supports the excellent effect of phosphamine. The interval between the two steps should be 2-3 days.
Special note: Do not use Izumi Phosphamin on ponds with sturgeon!Application:
Fill the phosphamine into filter bags, e.g. place the bags in the last chamber of the filter, in the outlet of a stream or hang the bags in the pond at the edge.
